About This Marionette
With twelve moving parts, Sir Dorric the Knight is one of the more detailed marionettes I designed.
He is a more difficult marionette to operate, however with just his eyes nose and mustache showing, and his portly pot-belly stature, he is also one of the more comical fairy tale characters to see in action.
This knight marionette can turn from being heroic to ridiculous just by the way he is operated.
The sword and shield can easily be removed from the marionette's hands leaving his hands free to clutch other things.
Sir Dorric the Knight's Story
Sir Dorric is, without doubt, the most fearless and chivalrous Knight in the Kingdom and so, naturally, he was appointed the personal bodyguard to Princess Destiny.
His loyalty to her is absolute, his obedience unlimited and her every wish his command.
The only problem is, as a Knight, he is rather clumsy.
Maybe it's his cumbersome armor, maybe it's his impeccably bad timing or maybe it's just plain bad luck, but no matter the errand, venture or quest, something along the way usually goes horribly wrong and he has to rely on his friends to rescue him.
